<p>The TruthAboutAbs is a 120 page ebook written by Mike Geary.  It contains an extensive exercise program for banishing belly fat and creating a flat toned stomach or a six pack if you want to take it that far.  The first thing I noticed when I received the manual is that many of the exercises are shown using expensive gym equipment.  This was something I wanted to do at home on my own without having to join an expensive gym.</p>
<p>However my initial disappointment was short lived however as in the first chapter Mike discussed the role of exercise equipment in the program.  No such equipment is required.  All of the exercises can be performed with a stability ball and a set of dumbells, whilst many of the exercises require no equipment at all.  So in order to get the most out of the manual you are going to have to spend $50 on some basic exercise equipment.</p>
<p>The manual is packed solid with information and could easily have filled a manual twice its size as most ebooks usually have larger font sizes than this and have the information more spaced apart.  So you get plenty of information for your money.  In fact I found it too much information to be read comfortably in an ebook format and I decided to print it out.  This isn&#8217;t a book you are going to flick through in an hour or two, you are going to need to come back to this over the days and weeks to come.  So full marks for quantity of content.</p>

<p>As well as introducing many different exercises they are all put together into a well thought out and thorough exercise program.  It is designed to take between 30 to 50 minutes a day and practiced 3 to 4 times a week.  There is a great deal of information in the manual about nutrition and it&#8217;s importance in your abdominal exercise program.</p>
<p>The Truth About Abs is a great program but I don&#8217;t think that an ebook by itself is the best way to present the information as it&#8217;s not always immediately clear from the photos and descriptions how to do the exercises. It&#8217;s obvious once you have read through the instructions and are able to visualize them, but it would have been so much easier in a video format.  Also the manual despite stating that most of the exercises don&#8217;t require any special equipment still seems to be presented more for the benefit of those people with access to a gym.  These aren&#8217;t really criticims as it is hard to find fault with the information in the Truth About Abs.  I just want to make it clear that this isn&#8217;t something you are going to read for 5 minutes and start to put to use 5 minutes later.  This has been written for people who are going to be totally committed to the exercise program.  The greatest strength of the Truth About Abs program is also it greatest weakness.  It over delivers, but at the cost of making the course bloated which could well put many people off.  But like I said, if you are determined to get those dream abs, then this is the by far the best product available that I have ever come across.</p>
